Karen M. Greenwald

Karen M. Greenwald is an award-winning children’s author. Food Network celebrity, Chef Maneet Chauhan said about Karen's 2026 release, The Cabbage Seed’s Colossal Secret, “…Our young girls need to read this…” Greenwald is also the author of Italian media favorite, The Mud Angels and A Vote for Susanna. The latter,  a Kansas 2022 Notable Book, represented Kansas at both the Library of Congress’ National Book Festival and in the LOC's Great Reads from Great Places initiative. Karen cofounded the #SunWriteFun writing contest, created what is now called #BOOKHERO, and has won nineteen international brand strategy awards. Most recently, her educational marketing efforts earned the prestigious title, “BEST IN CATEGORY” from the 2024 global Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award competition. She shares her office with a noisy dog.

Jennifer Buchet

Jennifer Buchet is an award-winning kidlit author, and presenter, former marketing guru, and super-fun pre-k educator (AKA chaos coordinator!). She's also a regular feature contributor to Cricket Media, including the social studies magazine, FACES. She is an active member of many writing communities including SCBWI, 12x12, and the Writing Barn''s Courage to Create. She is also the co-founder & creator of #SunWriteFun and a secret reader for Rate Your Story.

Jennifer's debut picture book, Little Medusa’s Hair Do-Lemma (Clear Fork Publishing) launched in 2021 to rave reviews. When she's not writing enchanting tales for kids, she might be found in a classroom sharing her joy of writing, searching for feyfolke in the woods or stirring up magic in the kitchen.

Hilary Elizabeth Margitich

Hilary Elizabeth Margitich is the author of two forthcoming narrative nonfiction picture books from Charlesbridge, publishing in 2029. She has also written several nonfiction series for the educational market, including the History of Holidays and Festivals series (ABDO Publishing) and The World of Money series (The Child's World). Hilary holds a Graduate Certificate in Children's Literature from Penn State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She volunteers with several nonprofit literacy organizations and is passionate about connecting young readers with stories that spark curiosity and wonder. A lifelong New Englander, Hilary now lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband, three sons, and a dog and cat who are roughly the same size. She is represented by Marisa Cleveland and Gaby Cabezut at The Seymour Agency.

Ana Siqueira is a Spanish-language elementary teacher, an award-winning Brazilian children’s author, and a published author in the Foreign Language educational market. Angela De Groot

 

 Angela De Groot is a lifelong lover of writing and reading and hopes that her writing inspires curiosity and compassion. Her picture book, NOT POP-POP (PRH/Waterbrook) is a 2025 Moonbeam Gold Medal Winner and Anna Dewdney Read-Together finalist. Angela teaches ESL/Basic Literacy at her library. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her in the garden talking to the birds.

Heather Macht

 

Heather Macht is the author of fifteen books for young readers, including The Mutant Critter Sitter and The Woodlot Monster Mysteries, two action-packed six-book chapter book series from ABDO, and You May Just Be a Dinosaur(Pelican Publishing) & More!. A lifelong storyteller with a love for monsters, science, and laugh-out-loud adventures, Heather has been dreaming up imaginative stories ever since she was in third grade.

 

When she isn't writing, Heather works as an I.T. Manager, wrangles family life, and runs SeasonsOfKidLit.com.
